Empowering the Native American Community Political Training

Hello Native Vote,

Ok.  HERE is the Official Announcement for the Empowering the Native American Community training for getting involved in politics and RUNNING FOR OFFICE. 

Native Vote WA, People of Color for Progress are working with Progressive Majority for a four hour training being brought to YOU for FREE!

Have you thought about running for your local school board, fire district, state senate, and/or federal offices?? If you said yes, then you need to be at this free training on Saturday, February 26 @ 12:30pm. Sky is the limit.

You can make a difference.  In fact, pretty much every difference ever made, started locally.  This is grassroots and this is activism.  Please come and join a wonderful political team of experienced elected officials, campaign organizers, field organizers, community activists, and on Saturday, Feburary 26, 2011 at the world-famous Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, WA.  It’s just a stone’s throw south of Seattle and a shorter heave north of Tacoma.

There’s also a training near the Yakama Nation on Saturday the 19th.  Information is on the announcement.
