Convention notes; Youth Poll released

We have an ace team in Denver for the Democratic convention (don’t worry GOP’sters, we’ll be in MSP too).  Tonight we are pretty impressed by Ted Kennedy’s health and charisma.  Perhaps it’s fitting that the number 2 educational institution in Ted’s home state (c’mon Williams College is No. 1) just released a new poll on the youth vote.  The Harvard Institute of Politics surveyed 18-24 year olds and found that Senator Obama holds a 55-32% lead over Senator McCain.   Also in the poll — more than 3 in 5 young voters are excited about the election and nearly half of likely voters interested in volunteering on a campaign.  Based on what we see here in WA State, we can only nod in agreement.

We’ll be back with more thoughts as the night progresses!
